Emily Nakada-Alm joined the University of Puget Sound as the Athletics Advancement Officer in July 2026. She is the primary contact for corporate fundraising activities in support of Logger Athletics. Emily plays a central role in aligning athletics fundraising with broader University priorities, working alongside partners across campus to grow resources, deepen community engagement and enhance the scholar-athlete experience.
A Puget Sound alum herself, Emily graduated from the University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. Emily's previous roles include Director of Development for Special Olympics Washington, Corporate Partnership Manager for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound, and Executive Director of the Destiny City Film Festival.
Along with her family, Emily enjoys outdoor activities, cheering on Logger athletics teams, and exploring the beautiful greater Tacoma community.
