University of Puget Sound

Alyssa Floyd joined the University of Puget Sound Athletic Department as the Athletic Communications Assistant in December of 2025. In her role, she helps manage the Logger social media accounts, updates the Logger Athletics website, assists with game-day operations, and supports live broadcasts and NCAA stat recording. She is the primary contact for men's and women's soccer, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's tennis, women's lacrosse, and softball. 

Alyssa is a former NCAA Division III women’s soccer player at Gordon College. She graduated in April 2025 from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in Broadcasting. 

Before coming to Puget Sound, Alyssa worked as a Matchday Assistant for the Seattle Sounders, Reign FC, and Tacoma Defiance. She also interned with Grand Canyon University’s club sports program, helping with media coverage, photography, and operations. 

Originally from the greater Seattle area, Alyssa resides in Poulsbo with her two dogs, Nala and Theo.
