TACOMA, Wash. -- Three Loggers earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team this year, showing out both on the field and in the classroom.
The CSC recognises Scholar-Athletes who are sophomore standing or higher who carry a 3.5 GPA, and also play in 90% of games throughout the year. Three members of the Women's Soccer team made the prestigious list, showing their versatility across the board.
An international relations major,
Hayden Goodman played in and started all 22 games for the Loggers, anchoring the best back-line in the Northwest Conference. She also had six assists on the year, making an impact with her service on both free kicks and corner kicks. Goodman finished the year on the All-NWC First Team.
A biology major,
Zoe Witter also played and started all 22 games this season, finishing the year with five goals and two assists. She finished the year on the All-NWC First Team for her stellar play this season.
An exercise science major,
Mazy Wright played and started all 22 games this season. She finished the year with 2 assists, and 8 shots on goal. The senior finished her year on the All-NWC Third team.
The Loggers had a historic season, reaching the second round of the NCAA Championships for the first time in a decade. With the majority of the team being underclassmen, the Loggers have their eyes set on the prize again next year.
