TACOMA, Washington – Abby Stranahan's big first half lifted the Puget Sound lacrosse team to a 13-5 win over Whitworth in Baker Stadium Saturday afternoon.
 
Stranahan scored the game's first goal nearly four minutes into the first quarter, and she added three more goals before halftime. Her four goals for the game are a season high.
 
The Loggers took a 7-1 lead into halftime, and 
Mimi Carrier-Berndt opened the scoring in the second half with her second goal of the season. Carrier-Berndt sprinted toward the cage and draw a foul. She buried the subsequent free-position shot.
 
Hannah Bushing finished the game with three goals, all of which were in the second half. 
Olivia Almy made seven saves in the win.
 
Puget Sound's 2022 home finale is Sunday, April 17, at 1 p.m.
