NEWBERG, Oregon – The Puget Sound lacrosse team began the 2021 season with an 18-4 loss at George Fox Saturday.

Emily LaRiviere began the season by giving the Loggers a 1-0 lead less than five minutes into the game. However, George Fox scored 12 consecutive goals to take a 12-1 lead into halftime.

The first goal of the second half was netted by Hayden Hotchkiss. LaRiviere scored two more times in the second half, including on off a free-position shot.

The Loggers and Bruins meet against Sunday, March 21, at 1 p.m.
